Yes, you don’t have to be a senior to get cataracts. It is unlikely that the vitamins you have been taking caused your cataracts. Some people just get cataracts at an earlier age than others.

SHE ASKED ME IF I TOOK STEROIDES AND I HAVE NEVER TAKEN THEM EVER IN MY LIFE COULD IT BE MY VITAMINS THAT IM TAKING? OR COULD THIS REALLY HAPPEN AT MY AGE?

While the optomap is important in the detection of ocular conditions the optomap would not be the first choice to screen patients for auto immune diseases. The optomap would however, be very helpful in monitoring some of the side effects of medications that are used to control auto immune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.
