		<description><![CDATA[I firmly believe that there is a strong correlation between time spent doing near tasks and near-sightedness.  Why is near-sightedness on the rise?...Our culture is no longer agrarian as it once was.  Each year, more and more students are pushed toward higher education and with that comes more time spent doing activities at near.

I&#039;m excited about the SMART study and the potential for ortho-K to reduce the myopic progression.   Keep up the good blog posts Dr. Driscoll.
